Sloane Williams is shocked to hear those words coming out of her boss's mouth. She's been wanting to move up the ladder at Billingsley-Davis for years but as the only black woman on her team, she's pretty out of the loop when it comes to office goings-on. And while her boss, Keith McNair, is skinfolk, he doesn't seem to know she's alive, personally or professionally. So why was he taking an interest in her now? What she doesn't know is that Mr. McNair has had her on his mind for quite a while. She's smart, gorgeous, sexy...and his subordinate. So he made himself ignore her, and was doing a pretty good job of it.
Until now. Opportunity is knocking and he's ready to bust through the door.

So What Did I Think of TAKE IT BY SHAE SANDERS?

Take It by Shae Sanders was such a fun, blazing workplace romance that caught my attention from the beginning and took me on a wild ride throughout. Though this is a novella, the story had a nice smooth pace to it that didn’t really feel rushed and I got what I needed for me to easily and fully get in this story.
The main characters were interesting with complexity and realness that had me rooting for them from the beginning. I enjoyed Sloane’s boss mentality and Keith’s duality. The romance between Sloane & Keith really blazed the pages. They had such a smooth yet intense connection that I very much enjoyed. My curiosity and anticipation on how their relationship would work was high given the semi-high stake situation they found themselves in. And I felt that the overall resolution was satisfactory for me.
“If I offered you some advice, would you take it?”
