Billionaire Sebastian Cabral loves his family; he just doesn't love their reality TV show, The Cabral Empire. So when his ex-girlfriend tries to rekindle their relationship on camera, Sebastian decides that drastic measures are in order. By day, Chelsea Hall is a happy-go-lucky, rough-and-tumble roller derby skater. By night, she's still living in fear of her past. Most of all, she just doesn't want to be alone. And she really, really doesn't want to date. So when their mutual friends' upcoming wedding turns Chelsea and Sebastian into fast friends, they realize that they can solve both of their problems with one life-changing lie: a quick trip down the aisle. But with one kiss, Chelsea and Sebastian suddenly realize that their pretend relationship is more real than either of them expected.

Interesting Premise

I found the premise to be interesting, filled with drama and excitement that it caught and held my attention. I was very curious to see how Sebastian and Chelsea’s relationship would transition from the marriage of convenance to the real thing and it turned out to be an interesting ride.

Strong Drama

The issues that they both faced pulled me into their journey to find justice and happiness with the harsh things life threw at them as well as trusting their feelings. Given the hinderances that they faced stopping them from really being together it really stood out within the story.

Cool Complex Characters & Nice build up turn Sizzling Romance

The characters were complex and interesting. Chelsea led a unique life and I enjoyed getting to know the world of Roller Derby as well as Sebastian having to deal with his fame seeking family in reality tv. I really liked Sebastian and Chelsea’s romance, there was a nice build up of their feelings becoming friends and growing to more. There was sizzling heat between them and they had a really good chemistry. Though things did happened quickly it wasn’t that bad.
