So What Did I Think Of Last Hope by Jessica Clare & Jen Frederick?
The story had a slow burn romance that turned blazing, from the beginning Ava and Rafe had a strong connection the grew over time.
Compelling Drama
What really held my attention was the issues that they faced, very compelling. Rafe and Ava’s journey was filled with exciting action, crazy adventure and serious danger. They didn’t come out of it unscathed but they came out stronger. With both of them facing such serious obstacles I was very interested to see how their relationship would develop and I found that it was intriguing and unpredictable.
Sizzling Opposites Attract Romance
So Ava and Rafe started out on opposites sides of the situation which made things very interesting, though in the end they were fighting the same fight. When they found themselves joining together and on this crazy adventure they really had time to get to know each other and grow closer which I really appreciated. Ava and Rafe ended up really complimenting each other, though it seemed they were completely opposites with Rafe being the hard sexy mercenary and Ava being a hand model.
The Mercenary and the Loyal Friend
Even though Rafe lived a tough life and was a tough man he was in touch with his emotions and wasn’t afraid to show it which I loved and made me really feel him. He had some hard issues to overcome with his past but he was still open, charming and caring with Ava having many passionate swoon worthy moments. Ava was brave and seriously loyal, I mean she went above and beyond to help her friend as well as face all the danger surrounded her and help Rafe with his personal issues as well as hers.
Overall their journey was really exciting and dangerous and their relationship was scandalous and sexy with blazing heat which made me really enjoy reading Last Hope by Jessica Clare & Jen Frederick.
