So What Did I Think Of Walk Through Fire by Kristen Ashley?
Powerhouse Emotion
This story had some serious powerhouse emotion filled with excitement. The drama was intense and so very compelling with the couple dealing with their past and where they currently are in their lives and all the struggles that came with. From the moment I started the story I was pulled into High and Millie’s story. They went through a serious journey filled with pain, forgiveness, love and danger. Their story really got me with a real rollercoaster ride of emotions.
A Romance That Blazed
High and Millie had such an intense blazing second chance romance. They had such history together and such strong obstacles to overcome and really struggled through it. Even though at first the adverse feelings they had for each other was so strong, so was the connection that they had for each other. I really loved seeing how they dealt with their past and what they were currently going through. This wasn’t an easy romance not at all and I really appreciated their growth.
Questions Raised
There was the huge question that was woven through the story that grabbed my attention. The question being what really happened between Millie and High that left them at such a bad place and the way the answer built up with the story was so so good even though I had an inkling of what actually happened pulled them away and was right. I still enjoyed the build up.
Strong Characters & A Bit Of Danger
There was a bit of danger with having to deal with the drama that High’s motorcycle club faced and how it interfered with their relationship. All of the characters were strong, with complexity and depth really building to the story and given the story real depth and emotion.
Overall I loved reading Walk Through Fire by Kristen Ashley and can’t wait to read more from this series.
