She is a woman divided. Her past, present, and future are as twisted as the lies she's lived for the past eight years. Desperate to get the truth, she must turn to the one man who may also be her greatest enemy . . .
He is the president of Pure Corruption MC. A heartless biker and retribution-deliverer. He accepts no rules, obeys no one, and lives only to reap revenge on those who wronged him. And now he has stolen her, body and soul.
Can a woman plagued by mystery fall in love with the man who refuses to face the truth? And can a man drenched in darkness forgo his quest for vengeance-and finally find redemption?
So What Did I Think Of Ruin & Rule by Pepper Winters?
This was a dark , gritty & dangerous story that I was looking forward to. There was crazy drama, mystery and action. Revenge, betrayal, sacrifice, truth and lies it was all in there and super intense and exciting.
I loved the blazing passion, strong connection and emotion that really showed between the couple. What I found okay was the hate to love relationship between them that was defiantly a roller coster ride with way more downs than up.
The male protagonist was defiantly an anti-hero, he was a hard tortured man dealing with a terrible pain of the past and the harshness of his life being the president of the motorcycle club. I really liked the fact that he had such strong emotions and loved hard before. Though that didn’t negate the fact that he was such an asshole and had a lot to make up for, a lot.
The female protagonist was strong, caring, bold and fearless though her sense of self-preservation was a bit skewed and she was way more forgiven then I liked given what happened to her. With how harsh he was to her, I wanted her to really challenge him and she didn’t really do that as much as I wanted her to.
I enjoyed the writing style, it was straight to the point without a lot of filler and the pace was very steady. Though my main issue was I thought the female MC was too quick at acceptance with him after all the harsh, harsh way he treated her. There needed to be some serious groveling done on his part and that didn’t happen. But with the crazy intense drama, strong emotion and passion I enjoyed reading Ruin and Rule by Pepper Winters.
