Grace is a bounty hunter who wants to be taken seriously, but her boss refuses to believe that a woman can bring down a dangerous criminal. She finally gets a chance to prove herself when she's given the case of a lifetime: capture Raide Knox and bring him to justice.

Raide is a dangerous fugitive on the run...and the sexiest man Grace has ever met. Catching Raide won't be easy. He's not the kind of man to go down without a fight. Raide is more intense and frustrating than any man she's ever had to deal with, and the instantaneous attraction that sparks between them is undeniable. One thing is for sure...it's going to be a case they will never forget.

So What Did I Think Of Hard to Fight by Bella Jewel?

This romance was sexy with some sizzling moments, Raide and Grace went through an interesting journey which I liked. There was an instant connection between Raide and Grace but it took some time for them to come together which was completely understandable since what they had going was a forbidden love.

Grace had such a kickass job being a bounty hunter, deifying gender roles in the workplace, ignoring the adversity and doing what she had to do to make her happy. She had major guts with her actions and I liked the fact that she was willing to go with her gut and she was able to clearly express herself. The fact that Raide being her mark made for an exciting premise.

Raide was mysterious, dangerous and bold & sexy and clearly posed a great challenge to Grace. Raide was tall, dark and brooding with some major issues that he needed to figure out but I liked that there was more than meets the eye with him and his backstory.

When they connected I liked that I saw a bit of passion and would have liked to have seen more. The banter between them was good with some challenge and I really liked how their relationship was a struggle that they had to sacrifice and ultimately fight for.

I was interested to see how things would work out and sadly my interest started to wain into the middle but I pushed through and I’m happy I did because things really started to pick up for me and became exciting when the secrets between Raide and Grace was out and they had to deal with the consequences. Thats when things really hit the fan and it was filled with action, danger and suspense that caught my attention. Overall I really liked reading Hard to Fight by Bella Jewel.
