Some consequences bite...big time.
Bennett Langdon has a firm no-relationships policy. Still, it doesn't stop her from hooking up with a super-sexy bad boy at her best friend's wedding. After all, it's only one night-what harm could it do? Ten weeks later, a pregnant Bennett has her answer...
Linc Monahan can't believe it. This wasn't supposed to happen. He's a werewolf, and shouldn't be able to father a child with a human. Now Linc has to find some way to tell Bennett that not only do werewolves exist, but she's about to have a baby with one.
But when word of their surprise conception gets out, the fur hits the fan. There are people who don't want this baby to be born-even if it means killing. Now Bennett and Linc aren't just fighting each other...they're fighting for their lives.
So What Did I Think Of Baby’s Got Bite by Candace Havens?
The premise of this story really drew me in and it turned out to be a good light story. There were exciting moments towards the end when things really came to a head, otherwise things went a bit more smoothly then I would have liked, I could have used more exciting moments throughout.
I really liked Bennett and Linc they were entertaining, bold with strong personalities thrown together with this crazy situation that kept getting more complicated which brought up the level of interest for me. Bennett was sassy and independent and Linc was bold and protective, and I really liked that they both worked in the creative field.
The drama was very interesting and had the potential to be extremely intense but it didn’t really hit it. I felt that there was a lot of things lightly touched on that I felt like could have had a much more emotionally strong impact to the story.
Sadly one of the biggest conflict that Bennett and Linc went through at the end wasn’t resolved which left me confused, it wasn’t a cliffhanger but it did leave me questioning if their particular story will continue?
Bennett and Linc’s romance defiantly had sparks in the beginning the started to sizzle as the story continued on. I really liked seeing Bennett and Linc’s relationship grow as they connected over their baby. I got to really see them go through all the detail trials of pregnancy and their straightening bond. Overall Baby’s Got Bite by Candace Havens was a story that I really liked.
This book sounds intriguing. I do love paranormal romance, and I haven’t heard of this one.
