Two people from completely different worlds are about to be thrown together...
In more ways than one.
She wants to keep her scholarship. He wants to stay on the team. An awkward alliance doesn't even begin to cover Rimmel and Romeo's relationship.
But that's about to change.
It starts with a dare. An initiation. A challenge.
Quickly, it turns into more. But when you're a victim of your status, there is no room for anything real. The rules are clear and simple.
Stick to your circle.
And never fall in love with anyone on the outside.
So What Did I Think Of #Nerd by Cambria Hebert ?
This was a fun, sexy, drama filled story. The romance was blazing, loved the chemistry between Rimmel and Romeo, the whole opposites attract element.
I really enjoyed seeing Romeo go from only thinking about himself and being popular to really caring and falling for Rimmel, looking beyond her appearance to see who she truly was. I liked how Rimmel was a smart girl who wasn’t the typical girl who fell over herself for Romeo and his popular status. Even though he was sexy and charming she made him work for it. I felt for her and her issues in the past that made her so closed off and I liked seeing Romeo brake through the walls she put up.
The conflict was very interesting, some of it was predictable yes, but it was still fun and had my attention with what would happen between Romeo and Rimmel. With Romeo dealing with keeping his grades up and trying to get into the top fraternity on campus. With Rimmel it was all about trying to stop the feelings for charming popular Romeo to develop and when that didn’t work, dealing with his popularity and dealing with past issues and really opening herself to friendship and love.
Overall I really enjoyed #Nerd by Cambria Hebert, with Romeo and Rimmel journey at looking past the stereotypes to finding really love, though their story is far from over.
