So What Did I Think Of You Really Got Me by Erika Kelly?
The characters were interesting, I was into the fact that Slater was a rocker and Emmie wanted to break into the music business as a A&R representative. I was very interested to see them fight for their dreams and getting an inside look at the music industry from different perspectives.
There was high drama with Emmie helping her brother’s band then falling for Slater lead singer who happened to be her brother’s best friend and off limits. Seeing how Emmie and Slater dealt with their growing friendship and relationship really grabbed and held my attention. It had the edge of secrecy, opposites attract connection and suspense of whether their relationship would ultimately make it.
Emmie and Slater had a sizzling opposites attract relationship. I enjoyed seeing them come together and try to manage the craziness of their lives. Their relationship was filled with hot sexual tension and complex issues that they still connected over to forge this bond that kept getting stronger.
They had a lot to deal with secrets, trust, jealousy, career choices and much more. Overall I ended up enjoying You Really Got Me by Erika Kelly and look forward to more.
