Good Girl. Notorious Bad-Boy. One Phenomenal Love.

From the mean streets of Detroit rises the newest superstar of professional wrestling, Xavier Cold, better known as Phenomenal X. His muscular physique makes men cower before him and women lose their minds with desire.

Anna Cortez is fresh out of college and naive to the harsh realities of the real world. Tired of living under the thumb of her conservative family, she defies them when she accepts a job as the assistant to wrestling’s most notorious bad-boy. Phenomenal X has an animalistic nature that even good girl Anna finds hard to resist.

One night forced to share a bed in a sold-out hotel, lines blur between them and they quickly learn that one lustful night changes everything and neither one of them will ever be the same.

Literary Cravings So What Did I Think?

I really enjoyed the writing style, steady progressive pace with things constantly happening. There was intense sizzling chemistry between Xavier and Anna from the moment they met and it kept on building. I liked how they didn’t jump right into the physical relationship, though not from lack of trying on Xavier’s end.

Though he did respect Anna’s wishes and they both tried being friends even though it was futile with the raging physical and emotional connection they had for each other. I really liked Anna’s snarky bold cousin Quinn and the other secondary characters made the story more interesting.

While their physical chemistry was sizzling I would have liked to see more development of their emotional connection as they established their friendship. For me things happened at a really fast pace for them and while they recognized how fast things where moving I wanted things to be more drawn out and explored more. In the end I felt that Phenomenal X by Michelle A. Valentine was a tasty story the I ended up liking.
