I wanted to share my adventures of going to a book event this past summer. I know its a bit late but I thought, better late then never right! I got the opportunity to go to a great book event called Book Expo America (BEA) hosted in New York City in May. BEA is one of Americas major book events of the year were publishers, book industry professionals, bloggers, readers, media and more all come together to share and showcase their love of books!
There was a lot of author signings, panels and events and I had a great time meeting many great authors and industry professionals talk about so many interesting books coming out. I was happy that I got to take pictures of some of the authors I’ve met.
It was also great to meet other readers and bloggers such as, Gaby from Starting Fresh NYC, Betty from Book Rock Betty, Alexis from Alexis Adores Books, Heather from Heather Hearts Books, Andye from Reading Teen, Kay from Dead Book Darling, Kate from Verb Vixen, Deniz from Closet Geeks and Slow Mo, Hannah from The Irish Banana, Danielle from Love at First Page and Anna from Annaberry Reads.
Overall BEA was amazing! I’m really happy that I got to explore New York, meet so many great people and discover so many amazing books!
