Delilah “Lily” Flynn is used to her drab existence. Lily’s been living it for twenty two years. Her boring life is suddenly turned on its head when she’s rudely kidnapped from her bedroom.
Or so she thinks.
Nox Taylor is far too high up in his field to be assigned a babysitting job. There’s nothing more he wants than to complete his mission so he can be rid of the smartass tomboy, Lily.
Day after day, Nox watches Lily and her strange ways. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever met. Getting close to the girl is purely for her own protection…right?
Lily never imagined she’d make her first real friends in captivity.
What lengths would she go through to keep them?

Willing Captive was a fun intriguing read about a couple finding love amongst the cloud of danger. What brought me into the story was the very interesting concept of Delilah a.k.a being held captive by Nox when danger rises for her and her family. Things start off rolling and continues through the whole story keeping me on my toes though out because things aren’t as they seemed. So there was much suspense of what exactly was going on and who Nox really was and why he does the things he does though all the questions I had was answered in a consistent manner as the story grew and developed.
Though there were elements of suspense and danger the story really focused on Lily and Nox’s romantic relationship and how they grew from adversaries to lovers and it was a fun sizzling compelling ride being thrown together they way that they were and how they got to know each other. Lily was all in your face, say it like it is sarcastic, childlike personality while Nox brought the intensity and secrets and it was great to read these two form a bond over everything that was happening and the potential danger. Though things didn’t really start to really heat up and turn down right sexy till the end which I liked because it allowed them time to establish their relationship and when things turned sexy things sizzled. When the danger against Lily and her family came to a head towards the end and I didn’t have a clue what was going to happen though it felt a bit sudden. I would have liked it better if it was a bit more drawn out though it didn’t totally irk me.
Overall Willing Captive by Belle Aurora was yummy and I really enjoyed it. Lily and Nox’s relationship was interesting, intense and sizzling with a bit of edge and grittiness that I liked.
