From the author of Lone Wolf comes a paranormal romance about two lovers torn between ecstasy and savagery...

Jace Warden is sent to the Shiftertown in Austin to find a way to free all Shifters from their Collars. But pulling off the Collars can cause Shifters to go mad or kill them outright.

In Austin, Jace meets Deni Rowe, a wolf Shifter with troubles of her own--she was deliberately run down in the road, and while her body has healed, she still has episodes of total memory loss during which she retreats into her pure animal self.

Jace has never met anyone like Deni. Courageous and beautiful, she volunteers to help him test the Collar removal. And as Deni and Jace work together, they feel the mate bond begin. But can Jace help Deni believe she can heal enough to be anyone's true mate?

Literary's Views

Feral Heat was and exciting intense ride that pulled me into this interesting world of the Shifters. This was the first Jennifer Ashley shifter bound story I’ve read and it didn’t take long for me to understand their world and what was going on. Though not everything was explained in the shifter world it was enough for me to go along with the story and not be confused.

Deni and Jacob’s relationship was fast, intense and sizzlingly hot and I enjoyed their journey of meeting and developing this intense connection. Thought at first glance their connection was almost instant and the relationship quickly followed, it worked for me because they were Shifters and had this whole different way of life compared to humans, dealing with their animals selves and the intense mating heat.

The drama was very interesting and suspenseful with Deni dealing with her medical issues and how it’s effecting her and Jace an outsider coming to Dani’s shifter town and working on this huge assignment that could change everything for the shifters. My curiosity was rampt up to see if Deni would overcome her issues and if Jace would succeed his task all the while keeping it secret and had no idea what would happen for them. And I was lead on this entertaining ride filled with mythical beings and danger as the Shifter fought to find a way to make a better life for themselves.

Overall Feral Heat by Jennifer Ashley turned out to be a yummy read that I enjoyed. It had the unique characters, the drama that kept me curious, the sizzling romance and a complex world filled with stories to come that I am looking forward to.
