WARRIOR OF HEAVEN
Reaver is an angel with a past, a record, and a less-than-heavenly attitude. Powerful enough to fight alongside the fiercest battle angels-and crazy enough to risk his wings on a one-way mission to hell-he's agreed to go where no angel has ever gone before . . . to steal the most seductive and dangerous prize of Satan himself.
ANGEL OF HELL
Harvester is one of the Fallen, a once-heroic angel who sacrificed her wings to work as an undercover agent in hell. But now her cover has been blown, and she's doomed to an eternity of agonizing torture. Even if Reaver can snatch her away from Satan's lair, even if they can fight their way out of the underworld's darkest depths, there is one thing Harvester can never escape-her newfound thirst for an angel's blood . . .
The story was totally unpredictable. Secrets, plots, espionage & lies was in abundance in the story. It ramped up the mystery and anticipation at what was going to happen next.
The sense of danger was immediate from the beginning and just kept on coming with Reaver bluntly ignoring the orders of the archangels and going to save Harvester which set into motion a whole lot of issues.
The emotions practically poured off of these characters from the MCs Reaver and Harvester to the secondary characters who were past characters from the series which I was happy to see again. Everyone held importance within the story adding to the plot in some way making it that much more unpredictable.
The relationship between Reaver and Harvester was filled with so much drama and blazing passion and I loved every moment of it! They had such epic history filled with love, betrayal, sadness, hate and so much more and reading the length they went to navigate their tumultuous relationship kept me hooked. Their romance was defiantly hard earned.
Reaver by Larissa Ione was filled with non stop action, intensity, blazing romance and mystery, everything I was looking forward too. I was totally feeling the story, getting to know who they really were and their history I was pulled into Reaver and Harvester devastatingly, emotionally intense story.
