Before starting this story I was in the mood for a steamy, hot, in your face romance filled with high drama and seduction and Tangled by Emma Chase that was defiantly brought it!
Tangled turned out to be an amazingly funny, hot read that I was seriously glad I decided to read. Told from the point of view of Drew, which from the jump made this story stand out for me because I haven’t read a romance told only from the male point of view. Maybe dual point of view fluctuating from male to female but not solely male which got my attention right away and from the first page Drew Evans pulled me into his world and didn’t let me go! Drew Evans is a man who has it all the looks, the career, the women, the confidence, everything a man could want that is until his world was knocked sideways when he met the strong, beautiful Katherine Brooks. This is when the story really took off!
I loved Drew’s voice and watching as his story unfold through his eyes. His views of the world was every entertaining and had me laughing out loud numerous of times. Katherine Brooks was a perfect match for Drew, strong and capable of handling things herself and knew what she wanted out of life. She really threw things out of wack for Drew and I loved every moment of it. They had a strong connection from the beginning and their development into something more was so hot and exciting to read. The drama between whether these two would get together, how, and the consequences of that really drove the story in a fast paced wild ride. There was never a dull moment within the story and the end left me satisfied and looking forward to more from Emma Chase. This is one of my top picks so Adult Romance readers I would defiantly give this one a read!
