Sharie Kohler returns to the shadowy world of the Moon Chasers, where a seductive witch stalked by demons finds protection in the arms of a lycan on a mission of blood vengeance. . . .

Thoughts
It took me a time to really get into the story and characters. More time than I expected.
While there was an attraction between Darby and Niklas, their chemistry didn’t instantly catch fire. Their romance was a slow sizzle that eventually caught fire towards the end of the story. Better late than never, right?
The mystery kept me guessing. There were some predictable elements within the story, like Darby isolating herself because of her power and Niklas being typical brooding hot loner hunter tracking down the bad guys. But at the end Kholer crafted the story so that’s where the predictability ended. I enjoyed watching their story unfold and the choices they had to ultimately make and the events that happened because of it.
For me the action was a bit lacking. Things really didn’t happen till the third half of the story and when things came to a point where Darby and Niklas found their paths finally crossing with the werewolves I wanted a faster paced nail biting action sequence with them.
I understood where Darby character was coming from and the reasons why she chose the path that she was on but at the end of the day I didn’t really connect with her the way I wanted to. Though Niklas was your typical Alpha male he had this redeeming quality that made me like him and want to know more about him.
Overall
Overall I found Night Falls On the wicked to be a good tasty story. Though I felt it could have used for more action and intensity with the romance and werewolves. Sharie Kohler took me on an interesting ride.
