Another Warriors of Poseidon novel for romance lovers to dive into...

What could Christophe, powerful Warrior of Poseidon, have in common with Fiona Campbell, the notorious jewel thief known as the Scarlet Ninja? Answer: The Siren, a legendary Crown Jewel that Fiona has targeted for her next heist. It's said to be worth millions, but to Christophe it's invaluable. For the Siren also happens to be one of the missing jewels from Poseidon's trident. But breaking into the Tower of London is a two-person job, and Christophe and Fiona must team up to commit the crime of the century.

Being a jewelry thief is hard work but someone got to do it right? That’s what Fiona Campbell thinks when she sets her sites on her newest target, the beautifully enchanting crown jewel called the Siren.  Now all she has to do is find a way into the highly secured Big Ben London tower, steal it and get out in one piece, easy.  Until Fiona runs into Christophe a powerful Warrior of Poseidon who has his sights set on obtaining the Siren as well.  Things start to really speed up when Fiona and Christophe meet at the Tower of London and realize that this job is not going to be as easy as each of them thought. Realizing quickly that they can’t obtain the stone on their own, they both agree to a wary truce and embark on a journey to find it.  But they each have their own plans for the stone that bring the trust level of teach other down to nil also add fighting crazed vampires and the crazy sexual chemistry between Christophe and Fiona and you have a entertaining story that had me on the edge to find out what would happen next.

Though this is Ms.Day’s sixth installment in her Warrior of Poseidon series those who haven’t read her past books won’t get terribly confused or lost when reading Atlantis Betrayed, Ms. Day does a good job bringing the reader up to speed on what is happening in the series without going on and on about the past.  Lady Fiona was an enjoyable character to read with her dual identities, one being the prim and proper Lady Fiona and the other the kick ass jewel thief Scarlett Ninja.  Having the dual personalities allowed the reader to see the different sides to Fiona making her a more complicated character which compliments Christophe’s equally complicated (crazy) character, leading to a compulsively hot relationship.  All the characters within the story are well developed and intriguing adding to the intense plot and helping the movement of the overall story. With each of the Warriors of Poseidon series we are lead into the magical world where the beings of Atlantis is not just myths as well as all the other supernatural being like the vampires, shape shifter and more.  Ms. Day has woven an entertaining story filled with action, romance, suspense, danger and engaging characters that you won’t soon forget.  I can’t wait for the next installment of the Warriors of Poseidon series.
