Lucia the Huntress: as mysterious as she is exquisite, she harbors secrets that threaten to destroy her -- and those she loves.

Garreth MacRieve, Prince of the Lykae: the brutal Highland warrior who burns to finally claim this maddeningly sensual creature as his own.

From the shadows, Garreth has long watched over Lucia. Now, the only way to keep the proud huntress safe from harm is to convince her to accept him as her guardian. To do this, Garreth will ruthlessly exploit Lucia's greatest weakness -- her wanton desire for him.

Love the cover!!!! Totally sexy and sets the whole tone for the book!!!

Kresley Cole has done it again!! I’m totally in love with her Immortals After Dark Series!!! The suspense, the adventure, the romance…wow the romance!  This story is a total pager turner, from start to finish. The characters are interesting and so believable and the plot and details made me feel like I was there going through everything. The pace was spot on, not too fast for me not to know what was going on but not too slow for me to get bored.  We are introduced to Lucia the Archer who’s on a quest to destroy a god when she meets Garreth, the werewolf who knew the instant he saw her that she was his mate, forever.

So begins the hunt to claim her as his own.  There was so much spark between these two characters I was surprised the pages (and me) didn’t catch fire!! I love how their both strong independent characters and they can still come together and make an awesome team.  I love all the trials Lucia and Garret had to go through to be together, it made the story more believable.  Though they struggled a lot to be together when they were they burned up the pages…Hot!! I loved how Cole woven an amazing adventure into the story as well, giving it so much depth and intrigue and bringing past characters into the story.  All in all Kresley Cole is a wonderful writer and I totally recommend picking up all of her books because you will not be disappointed!!!!
